Färbekurs - dyeing workshop 6.-8.3.09

Der Kurs "Färben in vielen Varianten"

findet kurzfristig nocheinmal statt.

Ganz kurzfristig habe ich ein Kursangebot geändert: Wer Lust und Laune und Zeit hat, kann sich noch bis 28.2. bei mir zu einem neuen Färbekurs anmelden.

Im Kurs werden wir neben den Grundlagen des Färbens mit Procions viele Ideen zur Farbgestaltung verwirklichen, Farbabstufungen und verschiedene Reservierungstechniken ausprobieren und einige Experimente machen.

Encore une fois le 6.-8.3.09 : teinture avec les "procions" en plusieures variations. On travaille avec les mixtures de base. Vous allez faire connaissance de plusieures téchniques de teinture et réservation, pliages etc. Encore un peu de places libre. Si vous êtes intéréssé contactez moi par email, s'il vous plaît.

A lot of quilters asked me to teach the dyeing workshop again: I changed the workshops: on march 6.-8.we will do tye dyeing, experiments with several mixtures, working with resist and so on. A few places available, please contact me by email, if interested.

Basics und Handwerk: Färben und Farbe Basics and crafts: dyeing and colour

Eine neue Runde von neuen Arbeiten beginnt immer mit den Basics, dh. dem handwerklichen Teil. Nämlich Farben mischen, Stoffe färben, zwischen Zufall und Kalkül die Basis für das Surface Design durch gezielte Stoffmanipulation schaffen. Linien und Richtungen sind dann vorgegeben, was draus wird steht im Moment noch in den Sternen. Mein verzweifelter Versuch, mich doch auch mal ans Pastellige zu gewöhnen, wurde durch mich selbst immer wieder boykottiert. A new round of new works begins always with the basics, that means the crafts. Mixing the dyes, dyeing the fabrics, between accident and composition. This all as basic fabric for several new layers of surface design. You will find lines and directions in this new fabrics, but how will it be in future ...?Une nouvelle gamme de tissus teints pour les quilts suivantes... on commence toujours avec les bases, l'art appliqué. Faire les mixtures, teindre, créer la base pour les prochains couches entre accidents et composition. Les lignes et les directions de la couleur sur le tissu sont le début, quoi qu'il arrive aprés comme nouveau quilt. Vermutlich ist draußen noch zu viel Winter um süßliche Frühlingsgefühle zu produzieren.

Meine Stadtfarben gelangen jedoch ganz gut, besonders die Backsteinfarben. Der Effekt ist sehr wirkungsvoll, wenn man ecru-Töne als Grundstoff verwendet und kein reines Weiß.

I really tried to make efforts in dyeing pastell, light rose, greens, blues, but I think the winter does stay too long in the moment to produce sweet spring colours. But my city colours worked well, especially the red wall colours. If you take a beige fabric and not a white one, it works really good.

Pas tellement facile pour moi: teindre les tons douces, pastelles. peut-être c'est encore trop d'hiver dehors pour créer des emotions de printemps. Mais mes couleurs de ville sortaient très bien, surtout les couleurs de briques.L'effet est facile à arriver avec des tissus beiges ou écru.
